We must never forget that Christ died to save people, not programs. However, the programs of the church help us to be as effective as possible in our service to the Lord. Research tells us that those members who become meaningfully involved in the life of the congregation are the ones most likely to remain faithful. Therefore, getting people involved is of the utmost importance.
